ask me question
Thank you for your work it’s deeply inspiring while I finish my bachelors degree. I love music more than my school but I’m doing it for my family. Thank you Glasear.
Wow
How do you come up with what kind of music you want to do? Do you like all genres or do you feel like you create only one kind of genre cause it feels so right for you? Love your stuff!!

Replies: >>372
if you start learning producing now what would you do ?
Replies: >>373
how can i become as goated as you
Replies: >>374
How do you go about connecting to new musicians? I don’t necessarily want to get into a current scene, but more so work with musicians and be the reason they try something new. What’s the best way to approach I guess

to be honest im not sure sometimes I think im like conscious of what im coming up with and sometimes im just messing around and i create the thing i been trying to create for a very long time. I do like all genres and i try to learn and study every form of music i can come across, I mean shit i hope i can create my own genre that's the plan at least. thank u btw

What’s your stance on Yung Maple?

I cold emailed woesum a bunch of stuff when i was a kid and slowly got introduced to everyone through him. But the first time i had a real release with bladee was with cold visions. Me and f1lthy were working a ton at the time and bladee ended up using some random beats we did that turned out to be fun fact and yung sherman

What vst/plugins/drumkits do you use the most? How are you finding new high quality sounds?
Replies: >>378
>>368
thank you! so interesting to hear
>>367
I think you should build with people around you whether it's friends from school or coworker or anything, and also try to connect with people on a similar wavelength as you on the internet, but when ur connecting with people don't try too hard to be aggressive with ur approach and be a human being, some people can be reclusive or etc don't take it personal
>>375
i like the d rich kit and omnisphere but i also like to collect plugins so my palette changes a synth i would recommend rn would be waldorf microwave that's a fun one
Do you think it’s hard to be original and come up with new stuff? Do you feel like your music is just a outcome of everything you listen to?
Replies: >>384
qiqi likes you more or maple ?
Replies: >>385
>>379
I think yes and no, because ultimately everyones music is original in it's own way. Everyone can choose what melody they're playing or even what drum pattern or synth frequency they want to highlight, as long as you're doing something that feels true to you then it is original because you're translating your human experience into the track. I definitely do feel like my music is an outcome of everything i listen to both subconsciously and and also consciously.

if you had to start from scratch today what would you do to put yourself out there and connect with new artists. love your work , ty in advance if you see this
Replies: >>399
How can I work with you?
>>389
nation, pinkpantheress have great live sets that i can recall in recent times yung lean was great too
>>390
I think you should try to grow with people around you in the mean time and focus on community that will be good for you at the stage you're at rn if you feel like everyone is ignoring you. A lot of established artists / producers already are overworked and have people in their own circles the best thing you can do is focus on whats in front of you
>>394
Man i guess what i did coming up was cold emailing people loops and shit but the game is all fucked up now i think now I'd probably just make my own music and just put it out consistently and hope people find it.
What is your creative process like?
Replies: >>404
How did u grow a following
Replies: >>405
>>400
I try to let the beat make itself I’ll pull up random sounds and mess around but other times I can be very intentionally with what I make just depends on what’s going on

I been tryna do that more just a lot of artists are not down for music to be that freaky sometimes but that’s why I been doing my solo project / hope I can refine the sound so other people can let me produce like that more
>>413
